ok guys im looking at this truck and wondering how good of a daily driver it would be. it has 5x.013 injectors, 4k govener springs, fire ringed head gasket,12mm head studs, 0 fuel plate, laser cut delivery valves, and a 13mm pump, i know the 13 mm pumps arent really good daily drivers, and its a 5 speed with a dual disc clutch and it has the hx35 put back on it to sell. could i turn the pump down and use it as my daily driver? thanks for lookin guys

If you never really get into it it should be good...

What was the truck used for???

Sounds like a pulling set up, so i would watch out for wear and tear and see if the axles are locked...

Also that turbo is going to be crazy overfueled i would get a bigger one ASAP, if you decide to drive it...

the guy built it as a toy and i dont think he ever really pulled it. i was thinking of selling the pump and getting a 12mm and getting a bigger turbo.. maybe a 62mm or 64mm i dont think it would spool a 66mm :confused013:

I would insist the other turbo be put back on. It sounds like the stock turbo is way to small. If it was put back on that means the turbo that should work was taken off right? A half modded truck with missing parts is not something I would buy.

it had a silver bullet on it and he took it off cause it is a 2300$ dollar turbo and he cant sell the truck for the price he wants for the truck with the 2300 dollar turbo on it

Why not??

I guess he is one of those sellers that adds all the part prices up for the sale price...

hx 35 that lil guy would be screaming for its mommy :rof lol but like said smaller pump bigger turbo or a set of twins shed be sure be a runner.fire rings dont like heat cycles too much but ive never heard of their longevity. Does seem like alot of work to just drive the truck with removing the pump and having to buy a turbo on top of the price of the truck.
