I'm having a hard time finding the wheel/hub assembly for my 93 D250, I've gotten 2 from salvage yards so far. I'm worried about not being able to find them in the future.... My question is does anyone know where to get these new? Are there any other options? Seems everywhere I have checked they only carry the 3000 lb but not the heavier ones :confused013:

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is a nationwide junkyard search engine.

You may be finding already cracked metal. Having the front end parts magnafluxed can ensure you have a solid part. A friend of mine told me he put several knuckles from a 40's car (as I recall) before he found one that was not already cracked. He went to magnafluxing his junkyard parts to be sure he got a good one.

I recall somebody on a forum saying they'd made a 80's F250 2wd rotor fit... just a matter of changing the bearings. I looked into the bearing details and it seemed plausible. Haven't gone any further than that.
