Hello I'm interested in doing a ford Cummins swap from a 2012 f250 6.7 diesel to a 5.9 Cummins.looking for any info on pros and cons. The reason for this swap is we pull a 40 ft 5th wheel. We are full time rv living and looking to get the most out of our truck.

Have you looked through the Conversion Sections there are some of those swaps in there?

Welcome. Is your ford 6.7L engine failed? The 6.7L ford is a good engine. cp4 and turbo are problematic... but those can be resolved.

I agree with jkidd above, no reason to swap a 6.7 (now if you had a 6.0 or 6.4, then yeah, swap that thing). Changing the weird 2011-2015 turbo to the 2015+ design turbo and fixing the CP4 will be WAY less expensive than a Cummins swap.

I just had a conversation with him where he is planning do a 6.7 Ford to Cummins Conversion. Getting an adapter/flexplate kit could be the challenge.
