Cummins swap into 88 Cevy 3500 HELP

I have an 88 chevy 3500 ext cab 2 wheel drive. I want to get info on what it takes to install a 12v cummins with my th400 into the truck. Any info will help someone told me i would have to cut the firewall? Thanks for any help.

That first link there have been problems with that company.

The second link has built a good solid rep. They would be my choice.
