The flares are definately not dodge flares. My first thought was a superduty. Looks like the door was clearanced to open around the flare and the front of the flare still lines up with the bumper after it was pushed forward.

personally I dont like it... To much tire in the fender space it needs at least a 5" to make it look better just personal preference jus looks to packed inside the fenders

No. They're not Dodge flares. They are some aftermarket (probly Butch-wackers!) flares. And they look like crap IMO!

Didn't they put a CAT engine in there? I was looking at that article but didn't read the whole thing./..I thought it said that they had to use the CAT engine because the cummins radiator/intercooler setup didn't allow for the hidden winch setup

I have here in front of me and it was slated to be a 7.2 cat when it was designed but from what I am gathering they got the radiator/intercooler setup figured out cuz it has a 6.7 in it. but then again I may be interperting it wrong. the article is kinda hard to follow at some points

it is deffinetly a cummins. the cat was just for the concept truck back in 98. it was scraped shortly after. i have talked to a couple good sources that said the next gen ram will get a cummins in the power wagon if it doesnt get discontinued altogether which with the way the economy is, could be posable. no more power wagon:CRY:

It could end up with the same diesel as the 1/2-tons.

Why do you doubt it?
because the power wagon is a 3/4 ton truck and the small v-8 cummins they are putting in the half ton dont have the power. dodge should be worried about the people who tow with them. if they put in a lower powered cummins they will lose out on that end of the market.

also there is a rumor that ford is building a truck very similar to the power wagon for 2010 and its going to have a big diesel in it( powerstroke or other, time will only tell)
