so i installed one of those mechanical lift pumps.fuel boss. and one day while the truck was running i looked down there to see how it was doin and i noticed the dampener was shaking alot.so i put it up on a hoist and noticed one bolt had just about fell off and the other three were loose.so i tightened it back up.and the one that just about fell out is stripped out.so the next day since the fuel boss plate bolts onto the dampener.i got the longest bolt that would fit to get the most threads into the crank i could and put locktite on them.well after one day it had already stripped out one more.so now there is two out of six or however many there is bolts stripped out. and im sure now that its shaking again there must be another for sure striped out.hopefully just loose :/ so you think i could pull the front end apart and helicoil them? or do i gotta stick a new crank in the sucker? :( thanks for your time guys!

You might take it to a shop and let them fix it with a written warranty.

The balancer bolts on with 4 bolts not one! Maybe try retapping to a different size!

Whatever you do, make sure the job is done correctly. A balancer coming off a running engine is serious business! Many years back, a guy at a local machine shop was killed by one that came apart as he was leaning over the front of the running engine.

Pull radiator and what is needed to give access. Helicoil back to correct bolt and locktite it. You may need a dampner, so look carefull.

yah its held i by 4 bolts not one. dmaxes are held in by one :p just pulled a engine the other day. im a mech myself.just didnt know if helicoils would take that abuse. no i didnt overtorque them...the longer bolts i ran in are holding it but yah...two good bolts and one in a half stripped hole aint gonna hold forever. so i guess i'l helicoil them.and maybe he is a nice guy...but im sure he isnt gonna pay me anything if the bolts stripped out.he's just gonna blame it on inproper torque.
