I agree. It's not that big of a deal to r and r the dash. Remove the seats first to give yourself room to work. The electrical plugs are all different so you can't get them on wrong. You don't say what year truck. My '95 has a cable to the blend door that is hard to get at. I think later trucks use vacuum for the blend door. If you have an automatic transmission, don't forget the little cable to the shift indicator. Don't forget the electrical plugs on the passenger side, especially when you put the dash back in. I did that once.I put in a whole new dash this weekend.1 day job,just pull the harness out with the old and transfer to the new.got one at the junkyard for $150.easy job.
