My clutch support plate is cracked.
Can I remove this bracket without removing the dash?
Looks like theres some sort of holding nut on the si

de of the rod where the brake attaches, meanwhile on the clutch side, there's no pin and the bar can slide back and forth, is that normal?
Or am I missing a holding nut on the clutch side...
I'll Probbaly have to weld it back together, anyone else with the same issue?

I think removing that small bolt allows the shaft to slide out. That in turn allows the pedals to come out (short the linkages).

Add a zerk to both the clutch and the brake pivots while you have those out.

No, that's the main pedal support that's welded into the cab. 4 bolts hold the slave bracket to the part you've cracked.

I've had my dash gutted for diesel swap (cluster, column, and harness out) and clutch bracket install. I think you can reach in to weld it in place.

I installed a temporary metal plate custom fit and bolted it on either side.
There's 2 1/4" holes that I managed to fit bolts into and then I used the 2 bolts which were 11/16 to hold the plate on the other side.

I'm curious as to why it snapped though, the clutch doesnt seem hard to push in, although to start it originally I had to push the clutch right to the floor and then some. But I think this was because the plate was flexing when pressed in
