Some of these pumps are prone to leaks, the materials expand at differing rates aluminum/steel. After a while they lose their seal. Some fatter O rings would most likely take care of it, if you can find some that will work.

Mind started getting wet on the bottom and I was smelling diesel. It was not enough to drip on the ground. My truck only had 35000 miles on it. My dealer put a new one on it. Mind is stock.

leaking....

What may be going on is during the winter the o-rings shrink a little. when the engine and fuel warms up the 0-ring then expands and the leak stops. That may be part of your problem. They could have also put the o-ring in w/o lube on it making it a dry packing. Just my 2c

I don't have a pressure gauge but I don't think I lost pressure, but I got the same 3" puddle every day, leaks most at idle

I would get a new o-ring and replace it. When you do...lube the o-ring in engine oil then install that may fix your problem...I hope this info helps you out.

I would try Cummins. You should be able to find a Cummins dealer in your area and its cheaper then going to the dealer.
