I have an 04 2500 qcsb and want to convert it to a 1 ton. I am wondering what I need to do to make it happen. Would all I really need is the add-a-leafs? Or is there a bunch other parts? One other thing is I am ordering a 6 in lift within the next month and wondering how all that will work if I do the conversion. I am not converting to a dually, just want a heavier payload max.

I wouldn't bother

If you need more load capacity I would opt for air bags.

i think the only difference is the 3500 has an overload spring, thats it. correct me if i am wrong

but legally if you are over the weight stated on your door, even if u upgrade the suspension you can get in trouble by the DOT
