anybody done this? i have a manual and its pretty straight forward. just kinda curious about how to get the A/C lines disconnected. i pulled those C clip looking things and was baffled on how to proceed. do you really need a "special tool" to get them apart. going on my 3rd summer in louisiana with no A/C so i figure its about time to fix it. gunna replace the heater core while i'm in there.

opps. missed a gear in my head, ment the evaporator.

according to the dodge dealer it is but i take what they tell me with a grain of salt. gunna have it leak checked with die before i tear into it. it holds a charge for about a week.
