Hey wassup?

I know bits and pieces about a common rail fuel system, I know the pressure through a common rail system is unbelievable, probably why its also directly injected,

But how does it function, what is it's cycle.? :hyper:

Lift pump feeds the CP3, the CP3 feeds the rail, the rail feeds the injectors. It's the CP3 that takes a stock lift pump 8psi to 18K + psi. The high pressure atomizes the fuel for better ignition of the fuel. The fuel not used during injection is returned to the fuel filter to be reused.
