Bypass filtration is nothing new under the sun. Many many people, myself included, run a bypass filtration system and get good UOA back. It is a proven fact that when you demand a better oil and couple it with better filtration, you get better results and save money and downtime.

I agree completely with duluth diesel. Just do research and see what fits you.

P.S. Just so everyone doesn't scream I am flying the amsoil banner. I don't use the products. Not bashing just stating.

i run the fs-2500 on my 6.7 with no egr valve and dpf. i have had it on there for about 1000 miles and the oil still looks clear when i pull the stick. before the egr valve it would turn black the next day after changing it.
there are alot of things that can make a big differance form one truck to another. my 5.9 with the fs-2500 would turn black right away also. but that truck would blow alot of black smoke. my 6.7 doesnt blow black smoke like my 5.9. cleaner burn less soot better looking oil.

How did you bypass the computer to make this work right? Did you increase in mpg or power?
