What happened...Driving home, at night of course, air bag light came on, radio started doing things like it was possessed, not charging. Turns out likely a bad battery on drivers side causing the passenger side to over charge and start boiling over. Resolved the problem.

Then to clear the codes went to the parts store and these were all the codes.
Generic codes
- P0088 Fuel rail/system pressure too high
- P2146 Fuel injector group "A" supply voltage circuit/open
- P2149 Fuel injector group "B" supply voltage circuit/open
- P2503 charging system voltage low

Engine codes
- P0088 same as above
- P0622 generator field terminal circuit
- P2146 same as above
- P2149 same as above

ABS
- C2100 battery voltage low
- C2202 original vin mismatch/missing
- C2206 vehicle configuration mismatch

I am thinking that this is all related to the low voltage battery issue. Assuming that is correct then the only question i have is if the vin / vehicle mismatch is an issue i need to have corrected. The dealer put a new computer in it a few years ago, which of course did not correct my issue at that time, and apparently they didn't put my vin in. Now that I discovered this, do I need to go back and have them enter?

Sounds like it might of had a junkyard abs module put in and it was never vin matched to the pcm, or vise versa had a new ecm but the abs module was never reinitialized. The other goes id see if they come back as voltage does do weird things. Im guessing you will have a low voltage code in every module.

EDIT: didnt finish reading the post it looks like you did get a new ecm. Yes the abs module will need to be initialized which is a simple procedure unless its faulty. Im surprised you dont have an abs light.

KJMach, sorry for the lack of response. Harvest and work have been keeping me busy.

Nope, no ABS light but there is the code. I will try to get to the dealer this winter but not holding out much hope for their help. if i got a smarty jr would this be able to set the vin?

you got lucky, mine boiled over and caught fire. Was stopped at a gas station and prevented any damage. Had to replace all of the battery cable clamps and a couple of bad wires.
