Got the same code (P0243) on my 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins when the 'Check Engine' light came on. The light went out once, but I a friend checked it anyway and he found the code in the alarm history achives. He also found one of the solenoid wires had rubbed against a battery ground wire and had chaffed the insulation. He separated them from one another, but the light came back on later. It seems to be running fine, but I want to get it fixed soon. How hard is it to replace the solenoid valve if it needs to be? Where can I find the replacement part?
