might be trouble with the slave, I know ineed a new slave im going to do all the system this winter when I do a clutch, mine has a ew clutch but I can get on it and it push threw the clutch
if you have a new clutch and can push through it, you dont have enough clutch for what you are doing. the master cylinder and slave cylinder do nothing to the apply side of the clutch. they just release it.
as for the op, you have 2 threads on this going..... your best to only post on thread about the same topic, you get better answers that way.
use the red triangle to have the mods merge the threads.
howeever as i suggested in the other post you likely need a double disc clutch with the combo of you power, tires, and load.
you are pushing the limits of a single disk. they wont hold when you add stress like that. the ratings are usually for a specific set of conditions, ie that kinda power with a stock tire daily driving, it should work just fine, add the tires in, and ife expectancy drops. add the big loads and you kill the life of the clutch.
also it really matters how you take off with your clutch, slip it too much it will glaze the frictions, and cause massive issues with its "bite" of the pressure plate and fly wheel.
best shortest answer call southbend, tell them everything done to your truck and how often you pull heavy. if your going to exaggerate this is the time to, youd rather have a little more clutch then you think you need then not enough.....
