It’s not the AC clutch you’re feeling is it? I’ve never heard my fan in the 4 years I’ve owned this truck.

are you saying the truck actually moves/jerks when this happens?
When the fan clutch goes into lock-up it should roar.
what is your coolant temp at when this happens?

The fan clutch puts an extra load on the engine when it locks up and makes an obvious roaring sound, but I've never heard of one making the truck jerk or move. The field service manual has diagnostics for the fan clutch that can help you determine if it is bad. You can also remove the serpentine belt and spin all the bearings that ride on the belt. Repair/replace any part with a rough or noisy bearing. I wouldn't dismiss the AC clutch without further diagnostics as the fan clutch and AC work together (ECM commands fan clutch to lock up when AC is on).

I recently replaced my fan clutch. Here's a thread that I started when I was going through the process.
