Clunk when depressing clutch pedal

I've never had a vehicle do this, but this is my first manual trans diesel so I'm learning, I'm learning how to operate these forums too.
When I'm in reverse backing up slowly, like backing up to a trailer with no gas and clutch in/out I get a nasty driveline noise/shutter. I don't know what it is or where it's coming from, I'm waiting to get a buddy over so I can look from underneath. If I'm in reverse going and push the clutch in all the way quickly it sounds awful. If it's happening in the forward gears it's definitely not noticeable. The nv5600 shifts great no slip or anything and not hard getting in gear or shifting. It scared me the first time because I thought I slammed into my trailer backing up. Is this loud clunk normal for a heavy duty truck? Hopefully it's not a throw out bearing or a common sign for needing a new clutch on these. I looked trans mount and u-joints don't seem like they have any wear on them

Is it a "shudder shudder shudder"? Is there some load on the motor? Ie a trailer hooked up or backing up hill. If there is a decent load on the motor and the clutch is depressed very quickly my engine/trans shudders. I feel like its normal. Its just the drive line suddenly unloading. Although some poly mounts would quench it.

Lesson learned! Not a shutter shutter more of a one time loud clunk right when I press it down. Then it's quiet as I coast keeping it depressed. Like the drivetrains unloading and something is not right. I haven't tried it loaded up with a trailer attached yet this happens on flat ground with no weight except for that heavy metal camper shell on the back.
Crawl under the truck and check both U-joints on the rear drive line, grab the drive line while its in gear an attempt to turn it back an forth, should be completely solid, no play at either joint. while your under there inspect the carrier bearing.
