All the lights in my climate control (heat/AC) in my 07 went out about a week ago.

I haven't had time to investigate yet, other than to discover there are actually 3 bulbs in it, so it's not likely they all went out at once.
No other lights out that I've noticed and the heat still works fine, fan, vent selector, all work, but no lights in the dials.

Don't suppose they put all 3 in series so that one burns out and breaks the loop...?
That wouldn't seem very smart, but you never know.

Had a Ford Ranger once, the radio would not play because the backlight bulb was out in the display. Remove the bulb and it worked, or replace it and it worked...

Figured somebody's had the experience and knew something about it....

Any suggestions??

there's a thread on here somewhere about how to separate the unit and de-solder the stock bulbs - and replace with LEDs. ding-dongs at chrysler decided to save half a friggin cent per unit and use incandescent bulbs in there instead of LEDs. it's like $10 on fleabay to buy a 10-pack of bulbs and bluish-green filters to get the right color backlighting.

Yeah, I found a few comments on them.
Couldn't find anything saying how or why all would go out at once. Seems suspicious, but if they had enough foresight to make them (almost) tamper proof they may very well have put them in series too...
