noticed the other day while riding with my window down i heard a clicking noise as the tire went around...it speeds up as i go faster and slows down when i slow down.. any ideas??? dont remember hearing this before....what could this be and how much is it gonna cost??? thanks guys

I would suggest it is your axle u-joints. A pair of Spicer joints are roughly $150 not including installation.

U-JOINT for sure.. cost depends on where you purchase them

How loud of a click? When my u joints went out it was loud enough to hear in the cab with the windows up, and could only hear it up to about 30-35 mph. I think the joints cost me about $150.00

Yup same problem and just replaced my axle u joints too $70 a piece... installation was pretty ignorant though, took roughly 4 hours to put em both in

not very loud only noticeable with window down and speeds slower than 50ish guess ill be changing the u joints ...thanks for the info guys
