I'm getting the XRT and a 5" tbe coming in along with gauges and some other stuff. I was wondering if I should get a new gasket for between the manifold/turbo? I plan on taking it off to drill and tap the exhaust manifold for the EGT probe. Also, how would you recommend I clean out the turbo in case I find any deposits? I hear alot of people preach about using Sea Foam?

I would replace the gasket for sure. I actually purchased the gasket from the dodge dealer 2 days ago and it was like $2.50. You can also pick up the gasket at an authorized Cummins parts dealer for cheaper (my local stores were out of stock). The Cummins part number is 3949530 for a 2005 5.9L. I am not sure if it is the same part number for your 6.7L.

As far as cleaning out the turbo, I have only wiped mine down with a rag so I will let someone else chime in to answer that question.

Thanks, none of the Cummins dealers around here had any but I got one from a Dodge dealership for 11 bucks.
