I just recived and installed an MP8 in hopes of improving MPG thanks to Kevin at K2 Diesel Performance. I was wondering were everyone was setting their MP8 to get the best economy? So far I love it the it!! HP increase is very noticable! I only hope the MPG goes up 2MPG too.

I set mine at 75% for the best mileage. 100% is best for others, just depends on your driving style.
How come everyone tells me that too? 64mph/69mpg...
I would run it at 75%. I run mine at 95% with the Edge on 6 and it works for me. You may have to play with it a bit to find the sweet spot for you. Just dont move it every 5 miles. Maybe once a tank.
I have a Superchips 3705 (the older kind) with the latest flash (had to send it in ) and get 13-14 mpg city , my work is only about 3 miles away, 40-50 mph speed max. I have gotten max about 18 on highway with it before reflash, don't know yet after reflash. So far no noticable improvement. Any suggestions?

I have the Bully Dog PMT on mine and city i get 16 hand calculated and last road trip I went on I got 18 on the highway hand calculated. PMT set on performance.

I leave mine at 50%-75% when towing.so when you guys tow something heavy you just drop the mp8 to 0%?
how heavy do you tow and do you see a gain in mpg when you tow too?
The most so far with my 6.7 has been a couple of 12K loads of hay. Other than that no more than probably 7k. I picked up about 1.5 mpg towing.
I leave both of mine turned up all the time, towing or not, loads up to about 17k not counting the truck. Just gotta watch the EGTs and realize you cannot mash the pedal at every light.
so getting one without gauges would not be wise ah?
