checking fuel pressure

I want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to my truck and see what the lift pump is pushing out for PSI. Is there a shrader Valve somewhere I can check it off of? Or were is the best place to check it from?

I also would like to know,I have a juice with attitude and my low fuel pressure alarm keeps sounding,I shut my truck off and restart then it's fine for a while. last time I changed the fuel filter that fixed it for a short period of time!
Anyone got some info on this?

There isn't anywhere (that I know of) to just "plug into" the stock fuel system. FWIW, THIS is where I tapped my (permanent) fuel pressure gauge. The pic is the bottom of the fuel filter canister and you have to buy a tapped banjo bolt. You can also replace the banjo bolt on the CP3, instead, but the pressures *should* be the same...
Where do you get the tapped banjo bolt. I am going to get the isspro gauge set up and it comes as package but I don't think it has that bolt.

I know Diesel Manor has them. That is where I got mine. I believe GDP also has them.

If you just want to check the fuel psi. If you have a local diesel shop that does fuel systems. They should have a OBD scanner (or similiar) to h/u to check the idle and wot pressure.

I recently had a Raptor 100 installed and afterwards. Hooked up the OBD scanner and checked the fuel pressure along w/ the rail pressure.

16psi idle
11psi wot
then back up to 16 psi

Rail pressure 6900 idle
