ive had the alternator tested by different places and its been good ever time, i replaced the pcm with a used one that i knew work, i have power to the alt and the wires are all good, could it still be the pcm? i was told it could be the crankshaft senor, how is that?

does the crank senior control the tach?

Have you tested the batteries? Also make sure all grounds are good and tight with no paint under the ring terminals.

cleaning the grounds was one of the first thing i did, the battery are holding a charge

so what is the charging problem if the alt works good and batteries are holdn a charge what is the problem?

Yes.
If the crank sensor isn't working right it tells the PCM that the engine isn't running, nothing electronic will work.
It basically turns off the PCM.

i think its a the pcm acting up again

After a while the clamps get a bit over sized & the terminals get smaller b/c of aggressive cleaning so I put a set of battery post shims on mine $2 each here & they work. I could get power at the post but not on the clamp & it couldn't be tightened any further.
