So I need a new upper ball joint and new hub. I'm planning on going with the Carli Front Upgrade kit. I know its $1100 but I heard its the best you can get. I'm also getting the BD Diesel Steering Box Brace.

Since I'm getting all this stuff, do I really really need to get the upgraded t-steering (08.5+)? I just don't want to fork out the $300+ that I don't have and I need to get this repaired asap and I want to put the money where I think it would count the most.

Advice?

You don't need the upgraded steering if nothing is wrong with yours. Down the road it would be a good upgrade when you current stuff starts to wear out. At that point you would need a different clamp for the steering stabilizer since the OD of the drag link is larger on the new steering.

I ended up getting it anyways. So now I'll have all the above items + the upgraded steering. It's gonna be a lot of money but I'm assuming it will be well worth it.
