Yes you can run 285's on a stock wheel.

Hold up I have a 4x4 chevy duramax that has 285's and dodge's have way more clearance than chevy u can prolly even run a 305.

they fit fine. Damn near every other person on here has them. Mine fit fine on the stock rim at stock height. With the 2" leveling kit I'm pretty sure I can clear 35's.

ive got 285's on stock wheels now, used to have 35's on but you'll need a leveling kit for that

I have 285's on my truck and my buddy had 305's on his and both of our trucks are stock height and no problems for either one of us. :thumbsup:

They will fit easy no need to worry guy. I run 315/75/16 with only a leveling kit.

my 305's fit the wheel fine, just rub a little on the C.A. when fully cranked

285's are generally a slight bit cheaper because they are a bit more common and not as much material. 305's give it a slightly bulkier look, and 285's appear a little bit taller. actual height is generally within 1/2" from brand-brand.

My 305s fit fine with the stock 8" rims, no rubbing.:thumbsup:
