FASS titanium on 04 cummins.
Previous owner had it mounted mostly horizontally(both filter bottoms facing front, fass wasn’t actually working but truck still ran fine)

I fixed the fass and mounted it vertically, first drive everything felt good, second cruise I noticed a “pulsing” from the lift pump. Thought it may have been a line getting kinked or the sump wasn’t as long as it should be. I filled the truck and it still pulsed, so I disconnected the mounts and turned the entire punp
Horizontal again, the pulsing seems to have stopped. Is there any problems with mounting the fass horizontal?

Where do you feel the pulsing at? The line out of the fass to the CP3 will have a pulse to it if it's providing enough pressure.

The FASS pump is supposed to pulse. Or thats what FASS said to me when I called them about it. But that Pump needs to be mounted so the filters are vertical. So the filters work properly
