I’m thinking about putting some traction bars on my 09 2wd. I’ve heard caltracs are the best bang for my buck. I daily drive this truck and don’t tow very often with it. How are the caltracs for daily driving city/highway? I do have a few mods done to it so it does have some power.

I had Caltracs on my 2011. They ride rough on the street unless you loosen them up but the down side to loosening them up is that they bang and clatter when you go over bumps. The upside is they work great on the track when adjusted properly.

I have them on my 1998. I really like them and they really helped with my axle wrap. I used poly bushings in mine vs the aluminum bushings. It’s not the right way to put them together but I like it. I’ve towed with them and just adjusted the preload once it was loaded.
