I didn't keep track really, the duramaxes were the fastest of the day though. There was a duramax with a hundred some odd millimeter compounded with I think an eighty some odd millimeter turbo, 250%overs and a 12mm pump running 10 seconds. I will say, I think he's got enough turbo for another pump or two. Sucker was fast.

Otherwise like I said, there were 77 trucks, our buddy @oldestof11 ran a 16.xx in his diesel Chevy cruise. I joked that he likely got 70 miles to the gallon while making his passes, too. The fall races are usually bigger, but I was surprised at the decent turn out for this one.

BobSagetIsGod?,

Was that Duramax a black step side?
I know that truck, it is very fast---------
Wow-----77 trucks & it wasn't the big race------
I should have my truck out in October. I'm waiting for new turbo pipes.
oldestof11, I remember a VW that was the terror of Great Lakes races when the diesel drags were there every month.LOL

No, you're thinking of Brett Deutch's truck, the c-10 with the triple turbos (he runs 8s). He was there last fall and made his fastest pass ever, but since it wasn't a "sanctioned" race, it technically didn't count. The fall race usually brings well over a hundred trucks. The kids with the 10 inch tips and ridiculous trucks used to really get on my nerves, but now I'm kind of to the point where I'm glad to just see interest, and to see everyone show up.

I can now reply. Had to get the powers that be to change my email so I can get my password reset done.

I was up there a couple times in my brothers car but I don't think it was enough to be classified as a terror. I appreciate the thought! Lol:grin2:

I ran a best of 16.7. Car gets around 47mpg. Did a stint going down to Tulsa for Dyno for Dex, which NHRDA happened to pick up as a race now, where I passed a sign that said 101 miles to Tulsa. Also add 15 miles from exit to hotel. Did it in 1 hour and 14 minutes. :spank: Then I made rounds for NHRDAs ET class. Passed said sign on my way back. Filled up. 43mpg. If you do the math, I averaged near triple digit speed one way and put in 6 rounds of idle to WOT.

Cars been giving me fits. The EGT sensors keep going out. I got a months payment out of it when the screwed up the SCR and I waited 36 days for a replacement. So it's going back in soon and going to see if they'll replace all 3 at the same time. Talking to fleece about a tune, EGR kit, and downpipe. :D 50+ mpg and I'd guess low 15s are not too far off.
