Buying Foreign Oil

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I
fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to
kill me, my family, and my friends.

I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil
companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies
import Middle Eastern oil.

These companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell........................... 205,7 42,000 barrels

Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels

Exxon/Mobil...... ......... 130,082,000 barrels

Marathon/Speedway... 117,740,000 barrels

Amoco............................62,231,000 barrels

Citgo gas is from South America, from a Dictator who hates
Americans. If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to
over $18 BILLION! (oil is now $90 - $100 a barrel).

Here are so me large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

Sunoco..................0 barrels

Conoco..................0 barrels

Sinclair..................0 barrels

BP/Phillips.............0 barrels

Hess.................... ..0 barrels

ARC0.....................0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy
and each is required to state where t hey get their oil and how much
they are importing.

I saw this info a couple months ago and have been buying fuel and gas from the local bp since
Is there a list that will tell someone how much of the oil was purchased and how much of the oil came from the company's own well it drilled in a foreign country? Just because the oil is imported does not mean it was purchased oil from OPEC!
Which Company would 76 Fall under?
Yall should be aware that it does not matter where you buy fuel from. Every fuel station can be using each others fuel. it just depends on logistics. Case and point: My buddy owns his own petro outfitting company and I have helped him out on occasion. We rolled up to a BP oil terminal and waiting inline, for product, was just about every major gas company as well as various fuel trucking firms. We talked to the yard foreman and he said that its liek this all the time. Who ever has the cheaper fuel that day is where its bought off of. Somedays its us, other days its Marathon(points down the road). It just depends.

So yes you can support a company that does not buy foregin oil, but your may be putting it through your tank.
