I have the Automatic Transmission on the 6.7, and of course mine is moded out.

Was wondering what Upgraded Transmissions are out there.

I know Suncoast, Goerand, and ATS.

Just wondering who has what and what you guys thought of them. And what the Tranies run. I know Ill need the transmission if I upgrade what else should I get. I.E. either new torque converter..billet shaft..etc.

And how much it would run..it is only money.

Where are you located?

I have seen A LOT of UN-HAPPY Ats owners. Lots of money tied up 10k+ and no warrenty help from Ats.

Suncoast makes a GREAT trans. GREAT warrenty. We just did INDIANAFARMBOY's and it runs good. PM if your close to Indy or have any questions.

I heard the 68re is actually pretty strong
I got 140 K on my 6.7L Tranny. I pull anywhere between 18-30k pounds everyday. I have hauled all over the US and into Canada. I haven't had a single problem with the Tranny. I just recommend doing the maintenance every 30k which would include the pan off, new filter, & flush. I would also recommend running Amsoil lubricants in the truck. The new 68RE doesn't have bands to adjust like the old tranny and is actually a mid grade tranny unlike the old P.O.S. 48RE.
