Can I ?? I think I could. Ineed some re-assurance for this project. I want to build my own Transmission ( 48re 4x4 ). I was planning on all billet parts that are avail. and Alto Red clutches or compairable. As well as T.C AND V.B . What do you guys think. By the way a mean tool arsenol.:butt:

geter done... I f you have the tools and knowledge do it... I would have loved to but that's one thing I didn't want to mess with... besided if I break it i got a warranty.. If i did it myself i would have to explain to the wife why my dumbass didn't do something right!! :lol3: :rof

You learn the most from your own mistakes. Take that into consideration. IF yo are confident in your own abilities go for it. Sometimes though its better to leave it to someone who KNOWS what they are doing.
Some things are just worth the $$$ to send out to have done anyway, aggravation is expensive and that is when you start making the big money mistakes

I was only looking to do it for a project for my father and my son over the summer. Come on guys is there any thing that needs machining or any high dollar tools. I have Micrometers dials, and gauges....

I would really like to learn about my tranny, so I can do the work myself in the future.
