I was driving the other day and my brake light came on. The ABS light is not on. I checked for codes and there are none. Anyone have a good place to start? I already checked the e-brake and the fluid and I can’t figure it out. 2004 2500.

Check brake fluid sensor/wiring on side of master cylinder

I ran the cluster check procedure and didn’t see any codes. I thought maybe my abs light was burned out and it was just a wheel speed sensor but all the lights work.

I will check all the wiring and post what I found. Than you

All of the wiring looks good. I might just replace the fluid sensor on the master cylinder and see what happens.

Should be able to jump the 2 pins with a jumper wire on the plug to see if it clears the light
