653 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  RPegram
Replacing front pads on my 95', noticed passenger side pads worn twice as bad as driver side. i am assuming the passenger side caliper is not releasing?? if i replace the caliper, should i do both sides or is it okay to do just the one?? Truck has pulled to the passenger side for a long time..assume it's the same issue with the caliper???

Whatever you do to one side, it is highly recommended to do to the other. It keeps everything in "balance". Since you are having problems excessive pad wear on one side, I would go ahead and replace both calipers, pads and brake hoses. Your not talking a lot of money for rebuilt calipers and new hoses and if you only do one side now, a couple of years down the road the other side can go bad and then you will be chasing this problem again.
