The 2007.5-2010 LMM Duramax has no such issues. With he 6.6 having been out almost ten years, all bugs are worked out. I used to have a 5.9 which was a great diesel too but the newer ones are so much cleaner and quieter all while making more power.Hey Guys... Your freaking me out a bit here... I'm a 05 Duramax owner w/107,000 miles and blown head gaskets. (Confirmed w/cylinder leak test) The Dmax forum info sounds like it is not a uncommon problem. I thought I'd get in the loop and find out how the Cummins guys are doing and maybe make the Dodge my next choice... I'll have to wait and hear how this 2010 turns out. I need 250,000 mile reliability.
As regards this thread, I'd say pictures would go a lot further than words. I drive an 09 GM currently, but am not brand loyal and find this whole story smells.
