bought a new dodge today it blew a head gasket

i was on my way home with my 2010 6.7 i was getting on the highway outside of Pecos and all of a sudden i lost power and white out the tail pipe fiat needs to get this figured out:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

well atleast you aint got to worry about warranty issues it being new and all..i can only imagine what they would think when you bring it back in with 50 miles on it and a blown hg haha

At least it happened now, and not later. Maybe it would have been cool to at least make it all the way home on her maiden voyage, but if its blown up or something at least it happened now so they couldnt try to screw you on your warranty in case your mods void it.

Sorry to hear. How much h2o left in rad. It might not be head gasket could be egr cooler or even fuel related. Water in fuel/bad injector. But the good thing is warranty at this point. Keep us informed as the outcome.

OK so here in the state of New Mexico you have 3 days to return the vehicle if for any reason you are not satisifed with it. I would take that truck back and tell them to try again, and not only that but to make it worth your while with an extra 1,000 to 1,500 dollars off a new one.

It would be pretty sweet if you can get them to put in 625 ARP studs in it and just pay the drifference in parts.. Kinda wise it would have happened with my truck.
