so how does a boost fooler work? just wanting to do a little playing and thought about the smoke switch but could prolly designe my own boost fooler any help?$:
A boost fooler just tricks the ecm into thinking its getting more boost than it really is which makes the truck actually create more boost because its sending more fuel to the motor. Thats how I understand it anyways.
Would be easier to add a programmer like the smarty, adrenaline, etc, that does that for you. I say this because I have no idea how to rig up the MAP sensor to tell the ECU it stopped at 20 or 23 PSI. Does the power puck provide boost fooling? I ask because I have no idea what it is or does. You would need an adjustable boost elbow to go over stock boost anyway, right?
the power puck does nothing it fell apart. i dont want more boost right now twins are in the works for the future. i want more fuel and im wanting to try and designe my own plug and play. and this is where i want to start and want to learn as much as possible. and you guys are the best people to learn from so here i start.
