i have a 2wd 93 dodge, and i was wondering if a 98 auto tranny would bolt up if the patterns were the same on the block...

simple answer, no. But, if you get the starter and adapter plate off the 98, it will bolt up to the back of your block. The flexplate is the same for all years.

The 98 trans needs a PCM to controll it. There are stand alone controllers made. They are not cheap.
