even though I read somewhere that the 15 micron filter can handle up to 25k-30k miles and the bypass can handle up to 60k?? I did an oil anaylisis and still waiting for results, it should be anyday now. I have around 15k miles on filters and oil.

Most everything i have heard is keep the oil and swap the filters every 15k until the UOAs say to change the oil. I am planning 15k filters, and 30k for the oil.

Cowboy, what kind of oil are you running and what is your analysis interval.

I've been thinking of adding the BMK-11 but don't want to spend the money if it really isn't going to extend my oil change intervals because of all the emissions stuff.

I am running the Amsoil Full Synthetic in mine. I am doing the UOA at 15k when i change the filter. If i can go 30k on one full oil change it will pretty much pay for itself in that time alone. Well worth it for just the added filtration.
