installed my 2'' level tonight, on the drivers side i pulled the fenderwell to better access the shock mount. i unpluged a sensor off the bottom of the battery tray to get it out of the way, well after reassembly i forgot to plug it back in and it threw a check engine light, po517. and i also have a po513 code. anyone know what those are?

well point of the story is i plugged it back in and tried to clear the codes with my bmaxx, but when i get to the diagnostics screen it just freezes on the screen that says "Establishing communication with vehicle". i left it sit at that screen for at least 5mins and nothing happened. turned the truck off and tried it again with no result. i checked the connections and their sound. any ideas on what to do?

When did u get the maxx? If it was a bit ago download the latest software and install the new load into the truck, if its new you can wait to call hs or reinstall what's allready in the sd card it will clear it then

It is on a text file on the SD card.

it's the old version. the new one just came out, and has the fix for the DTC problem.

You will want to go to the H&S site and DL'd the 6.7.9 software.

Make SURE to READ and follow the directions properly.

sometimes with the version you have, (probably 6.7.5 or 6.7.6) you could get the DTC's to clear by trying to clear while the truck was running.

It might say it is clearing with the engine running, but no matter what the ECM will not clear any DTCs while engine is running. The Black Maxx would send the signal, and the ECM would reject it.

Update to the 6.7.9 from our website and you will be good to go.

Well, what I meant was, it would go through the full clearing cycle with out the hang.

I thought I remember it clearing the "skim key" code for me that way a few times, maybe not.
