How do I block the wastegate on my 02 all I see is a black metal line

do you have an hx or hy? hx all you need is an 1/8" pipe plug.

im not sure its on an auto if that helps i will look tomorrow

If its an auto its a HY unless it was replaced with an HX. Get a J-hook and that will aid in EGT issues.

i just got a pair of vice grips and pinched the metal wastegate tube flat and that did it. problem solved, didnt even need the j hook. plus the hy's max boost is 25 anywho so no worries...

So instead of doing it right you ruined the waste gate actuator? And efficient boost is maxed out around 35 psi....

Dont block the wastegate. Its there for a reason.
