Well I pulled in the parking lot at work, went to back up in my spot, put it in reverse and it wouldnt move! So reverse was gone, so I went to drive home and it wouldnt shift past 2nd gear! So the trans. is done, I just ordered a Performance Inovations trans. Anybody else have one of thses? No but he is guarranteeing me with the 3 year warrantee that it will hold up to 600hp with the big single disk and cryohardened input and intermediate shafts, and he said boosted launches would be fine too as long as i didnt go crazy with it... :confused013:

hmmm...single disks can take a pounding if they are done right...hope the shafts hold up for ya, cause they arent going to like those 200's with a bigger turbo but hey, if the warranty is like you say, sounds like you got a winner

I too will be trying out his Convertor. The warranty and price is right, il lgive it a shot when the time comes.

Yeah he sounds like a great guy to deal with though, I talked to him for about a half hour about it and he sounds like he knows his stuff, He said he has a truck identical to mine with twins and the exact transmission that im getting and it has been in the truck for two years with not a single problem, also the reason i didnt upgrade to the triple disk and billet input was just because i would have the same warrantee and I wouldnt have to spend the extra $1,200, He even told me that there was no reason I would need the upgrades if I was under 600hp, I figured he would try to sell the upgrades to me to make extra money, but no....

Buddy of mine is running one in his 97, he doesnt have much done performance wise but he tows heavy and very often, had his going on 3 years i believe, i've had his website bookmarked since i bought mine...just waiting lol

Last I heard he was trying to become one. I don't think he skimps out building those either. just makes them affordable. I got a quote from a big name trans builder for 5000 dollars for a trans to hold 500hp. Then i talked to my buddy and he told me bought another place that'll build me a tans that'll hold 500hp for 2500. and that is installed!!! with a warranty
