I was wondering if anyone knows what the biggest tire you can put on a 06 3500 DRW with a 2" leveling kit. I would like to put 33 inch tires on my truck but don't know what size spacer I need.

I have toyo trail grapplers 35x12.5x17 with a 1/4" on the inside and 2"between and they work with no issues
I'm running the same setup in a toyo mt. No problems but I'm also running adj control arms and track bar.

I'm 99% sure that 255/80/17 will work without spacers.

Find a different tire shop. The early 2nd gens had a different offset and will not allow 255/85/16 without a spacer.

I have a 05 one ton and I've called 8 shops around me and everyone says they will sell me tires but refuse to put them on my rims cause there will be to great of a chance for the tire to blow out and it being there responsible. Cause I hate the idea of buying small tires for more money.
