I was reading the other day that the larger cummins engines in some semis use the vp pump. If this is true wouldn't it be larger and if so would it be possible to hook it up to my truck? Just thinking that if so it would be pretty BA. :confused013:
Probably not going to happen! The next step up in size to the VP is the CAPS pump used on the 8.3 and it's a bigger piece of garbage than the VP! Maybe you are confusing it with the Cummins PT pump? That pump just supplies fuel pressure to the heads and the injectors do the rest. Just p-pump it if you don't like the VP!
