Well this is just info for all who might be interested:

NAPA BHAF number is: 2790, which most of us know and is priced at about $70-75
But i got a NAPA 6637 which is a very large filter for only $54...might save some folks some cash:$:...and it fits on the factory hose!!!:thumbsup

Mopar1973man...6637 is another you can add to you list of filters:thumbsup

Thanks for the info! I need to do something about my air. This will be good until I can get the Icebox. Got to get a clutch first but I think I can manage $50 bucks.

Why are these trucks so much fun! :$::$:

I recently took off my BHAF and went back to the stock airbox getting air from inside the fender to see if it changes mpg any.

i have the original bhaf for sale if anyone of you guys are interested.
tried to put it on my 3rd gen, but it's too much hassle.
going with a torque toob and an amsoil dry filter.

$50 shipped to your door.

No worries. :thumbsup hey, maybe more posts about it being cheaper will show up in searches of get it on that bhaf list quicker.

Nothing yet with the stock airbox. Just put it back on yesterday with the edge ez.

ahhh ok got it. i work at a rental yard and we go through air filter like that all the time like on skiploaders and excavators i could probably get one for free from the company

on the 2nd gen they just lay there and the hood pretty much holds it down.. i have seen a couple guys make mounts and for $66 they have a diamond plate box made for the BHAF it looked pretty good

Yeah, the inlet to the BHAF is a nice thick piece of plastic/rubber. The stock air tube for the 2nd gen slips right over it like the stock airbox. Just tighten up the clamp and your good to go.

Here's a pic along with a heat shield I made.
