Well this is just info for all who might be interested:

NAPA BHAF number is: 2790, which most of us know and is priced at about $70-75
But i got a NAPA 6637 which is a very large filter for only $54...might save some folks some cash:$:...and it fits on the factory hose!!!:thumbsup

Mopar1973man...6637 is another you can add to you list of filters:thumbsup

Thanks for the info! I need to do something about my air. This will be good until I can get the Icebox. Got to get a clutch first but I think I can manage $50 bucks.

Why are these trucks so much fun! :$::$:

I recently took off my BHAF and went back to the stock airbox getting air from inside the fender to see if it changes mpg any.

Hi, Have a K&N and thinking of doing the BHAF thing. Is there any HP increase just replacing the filter? Also, is there a noise level increase, and if so, how much...
thanks

Yeah, the inlet to the BHAF is a nice thick piece of plastic/rubber. The stock air tube for the 2nd gen slips right over it like the stock airbox. Just tighten up the clamp and your good to go.

Here's a pic along with a heat shield I made.
