i am wanting to but a BHAF on my 03 5.9L. has any of you guys done this on a 3rd gen. and if so what did you use? and did you make something for the filter to sit on or does it just "hang" there.. pics would be awesome. thanks :thumbsup

I have an '05 that I'm getting ready to put a BHAF on. I've been researching them just by doing a search. Go here CumminsDatabase.com :: BHAF and search for BHAF. Theres the model #'s, and some other info that ought to be helpful to you. I'm cheap, so I'm going to make my own heat shield our of a road sign, or some sheet metal. just my $.02

I can't see this link anymore from the rotten server I'm on currently. Hopefully it has the pics you want. If not, look around a bit there and you will find them. I made a bracket to hold the element and recycled 4" aluminum sprinkler pipe for the straight sections. You can by air system 4" rubber elbows from most truck shops. All in all it was a pretty easy mod for under $100 all said and done.
