Have you tried the ST MAXXs before? Mine have done very well in rain/snow here in the north west.

Those BFGs look good but have to wonder if they will handle the weight of our trucks.

They are not available in the size I need or I would. 37 12.5 20

The new bfg's are E rated unlike the old ones that were D rated.

Ahhh yeah think the STT Pro is the only one that comes in that size.

Well be the guinea pig :grin2: just be sure to update. Could try messaging discount tire here on the forums and see if they have any reviews/info.

I probably will. I like the cooper pro's but it looks like the bfg's may be a little less noisy. I dont really off road a lot unless I am going hunting or headed to camp. But, the Toyo RT's have scared me a few times in the snow, they are really bad...

STT pros are very loud after they hit 50%.
STT max in my opinion are terrible in ice, snow and mud. I’ve ran 2 sets on my work trucks, all worn out by 20k miles.

Anyone have them yet? Looks like we can finally get them in E range. I am debating a set, my toyo rt's suck in snow and wet grass...
Yes, yes they do, very much so!! I love my R/T's but when winter hits, and I do a lot of snow driving, they are absolutely the worst tires I've had. Been doing lots of reading and asking here and for what its worth, I think Im gonna try the Cooper AT3 XLT's.. They seem to be well reviewed and the new XLT version is supposed to be an improved revision of the OG AT3's.. We shall see.

Now if it would just snow out west already!

Got mine last Wednesday only reason I ordered is because BFG warrantied my POS KO2's. 35/12.5/18 they ride really well so far, quietest MT I've ever heard or owned. Long term we will see worst case I got a really expensive set of tires at a significant discount and then will go with Toyo's if these don't perform.

What happened to your KO2's?

After 14k miles 2 were already below the tread marker, and the other two are completely chewed up on the outside edge. Alignment has been perfect and rotated every 5k. Apparently BFG had a known compound issue and has already fixed this, but they gave me a pretty hefty discount with enough complaining. I honestly just think the KO2 can't handle the bigger HD trucks.

Ive heard the same about the K02's. Hopefully the 3's are better, they are E rated so Id assume that will help.
