wondering on the best way to run seafoam through my truck.. i read that it was not good to run it throught the tank. thanks:confused013:

DO NOT USE SEAFOAM

They claim it works fine in diesels but I personally think it is harsh solvent that can't be good for pumps or injectors

I had a buddy that put it in his 98 24V and his dads 01 24V and it took out both the injector pumps within a week. Not that VPs are bulletproof but that is a pretty unlikely coincidence.

seafoam did more for my fuel injection system then psd ever did.... I used psd in about 80% of my tanks & it still did not keep it clean enough. also, doing it the way I did, it is not in the motor long & not under high pressure (>10k) or load.

I'm planning to do it every filter change or every other filter change...

read through the threads on here about it some swear by it and some say they will never use it. i havnt yet but may give it a try
edit: oh and if u r gona do it follow the procedure in the DIY seafoam thread that another member already gave u the link for
