I havent been "up" on the tuner box products lately. Whats the best in your opinion for beter Fuel Mileage and Low end Power for Towing. I have a '99 with guages and beter fuel fittings/lines, and new VP44

I was kinda studying the Quadzilla XtZ+ and wondered about the Diablo power puck, last time I was looking at them.

Opinions/Reviews??

don't see a Air Dog or similar in the sig, hit that first...

as for the box, the Edge ez is a good mileage box for our trucks:party018::D

ill be the first to say it: Adrenaline.

run it on power level one for fuel economy, and bump it up a few levels for towing, and then max it for when you wanna toy around! gonna have to a pay a few hundred more up front, but supposedly its worth it.

and make sure to get a good lift pump before you buy a performance box

Ran the adrenaline on the highway from calgary to vancouver, twelve hours, on power level one did it on a tank and twenty liters/five gallons of fuel, so consumption is pretty good, then you can bump it up and smoke out ricers without mercy when necessary. But a good lift pump is definitely a requirement before adding more fuel, throw an air dog 150 in there and be set for the rest of the truck's life.

I agree with starting with an upgraded fuel pump, but I would lean towards the smarty if you want lowend grunt, and good fuel mileage plus you can check/clear trouble codes along with adjusting speedo, and have the wonderful three cyl. warmup(if you live in a cold climate). I really liked mine but I already had 80hp injectors and am sure that helped influence my opinion a little.
If you are going to tap into your vp44 then the quad or edge would both be good boxes. I like my edge and have heard alot of good things about the quad.
The boxes that tap your injection pump will really help out above 2300 rpm if you spend most your time under that and only need 65hp just get a smarty.
