Well, I've looked around a little and found that Dodgeparts.com has the lowest unit price, but the shipping drives the price higher. So, the cheapest place is from the dealer. No shipping charges.

The unit price will vary from dealer to dealer as well. Price will be from $600-$700. Unit will be unpainted but primered. Cost to paint is about $300.

That sucks for sure, i was hoping i could find one cheaper than that, i'll paint it so i'm not worried about that, but $700 is a bit much for a hood...atleast to me not saying they aren't worth it, maybe i'll run across a used one:rof

Thanks Chad:thumbsup

Does anyone know what kind of discount an employee at a dealership gets? I just found out that a good friend of mine got a job ata local dealer and said he'll see about what he gets one for! Thanks

Yes but its not easy. You have to do custom fiberglass work. I saw a guy do it in the TDR magazine.

Dodgeparts.com is at $610. I didn't inquire what shipping would add....
the scoop is open into the engine compartment and the grill comes with the hood. It isn't like some other brands that might run you a few hundred more for the 'rest' of the hood. Now, where do we get them a bit cheaper. I have to think it is a bit high for a hood. Since I tried to sell mine and a local shop only wanted to give me $250 or something for it; but, charge me higher than what is stated above for the SRT-10 version.....

Shipping was over $100 from dodge parts.com which is why its cheaper to get it from the dealer.
